The entrepreneurial actress who also owns her own Accessories boutique 'Fancy Nancy' could not help but look back on the year and reflect on her personal achievements which she listed to the attention of her fans.
1- This year I graced the covers of several Magazines in Africa.
I love taking pictures, Did I mention I modeled for three years before
acting? yeah.. This year I graced the covers of several Magazines in Africa and
i Just want to say a big thank you to all the magazine companies that made me their
cover girl ..
2- I have been to Dubai and America severally but this particularly trip was an exception as this was indeed a vacation, I had the best time of my life. Its Indeed been a very busy year for me, How else could I have ended thisyear other than a vacation, I have been to dubai and America severally but
this particularly trip was an exception as this was indeed a vacation, I
had the best time of my life I visited so many tourist areas like the safari,
I went on a boat cruise, swimming with the dolphins .Wow !!!It was indeed a
great vacation…
3-I took my fans suggestions and upgraded my website, making it more fun and easier to reach me, I also launched a YouTube page.
YouTube is definitely more fun that I thought and I get to be up close and

personal with my fans as I also subscribe to their page. I can watch youtube videos a whole day LOL
4-This year I joined the likes of Angelina Jolie As a UN Peace Ambassador.
5-I love kids and I love Charity.This year I officially Launched my Foundation CIF (Chika Ike foundation) dedicated to helping kids on the street. I launched my foundation with a big street
party on the 27th of may, we had over 3000kids and the party was themed
Educate A child. we gave out school supplies such as customized books,
bags, lunch box etc. it was a furling day to see the kids smile.CIF also
did some hospital and school giveaways in different states in Nigeria.
6-This year I released my 2012 calendar and the making of my calendar shoot.
My calendar shoot has become a yearly tradition my fans wait for, this year
i released my 2012 calendar and the making of my calendar shoot, My fans got
to see all the efforts and handwork that was put into it. Thanks to my
glam squad.
I combined it with my Fancy Nancy Trade fair which took place at Enugu,
celebrating my birthday with fans was really fun, My Enugu fans came around
they shopped, we cut my cake and had fun.
Wow when I drove to her house that morning my mum was still at the
kitchen making breakfast and didn't anticipate my arrival, she was extremely
surprised and happy as I watched her sing and cry in Joy, I felt like a
proud daughter. My mum has been extremely supportive towards my career and
it makes me happy to make her happy.
9- Movies, Especially shooting A movie with a life Snake.
When it comes to the kind of movies I shot this year I must say they were
all very challenging, Infact i had a movie where I spent almost 2weeks
shooting in a forest, but one to really reckon was shooting a movie with a
life snake omg !!!!that was the most challenging thing I have done in
recent times. But anyways am glad I did it,Very challenging indeed.
10- Taking My Dad To India.
This is my most emotional highlight of 2012 ,I took my Dad to India for a
life threatening surgery , accompanied by my mum,I am so thankful to God that
everything went well, seeing my Dad fully recover should be one of my best
2012 moment.
11- My fan of the month competition up close and
personal with a fan. I decided to start something new for my fans to meet me up close and
personal, I did a competition and a very loyal Fan Tunaldo won via Twitter,
we started our day at my charity event on 27th of May, Tunaldo was helpful
as he helped us put the kids together, We ended up at a restaurant where we
had dinner and got to know a bit about each other, Tunaldo dint go home
empty as I surprised him with a gift, (Home Theatre) as a student Tunaldo
appreciated this a lot and at the end it was a fun filled day.
11- Mobbing By my secondary school fans.
It was quite an experience, I was filming in Enugu and we had a scene close
to a secondary school, I got to the location and I saw a lot of kids with
school Uniform screaming my name, I literally managed to drive into the
compound, I was advised by some colleagues to go greet the kids as they
have been waiting for hours outside, As I drove back out and got out of my
car I was mobbed, for like 2 minutes I didn't know where I was lol. A lot of
screaming and shouting, Honestly it was a moment never to forget, it felt
good to know that your hard works are really appreciated and it was also a
wakeup call to work harder as the younger ones are looking up to you.
12- Award Nominations and winning the young Archievers award
This year alone I have been nominated for several awards and I have won
some too, But the climax should be my Award for the Best Actress at the
Young Archievers award, I had gotten a letter that I was nominated but I was
stuck on set and couldn't leave for the ceremony, I was shooting and left
my phones in the car, when I came back to it I saw missed calls, Twitter
messages, Facebook Messages of everyone congratulating me on my award,
Awwwww I just want to say a Big thank you to everyone especially my fans, I
cant even do this alone.
13- Being on the Top ten most goggled celebrity in
africa
okay this is the part where once again I say thank you to everyone that
goggled chika Ike in 2012 as I made the google list this year.
14- Kim K replying me
I love Kim kardashian for so many reasons especially her business sense.
Getting a reply on twitter wowed me.

Reading through Chika's accomplishments we can't help but admire the drive she has and her obvious self- motivation.
